my dream come true!
Today in a heartening show of bravery and stellar journalism CNN announced plans to air Votergate and follow up with an hour of panel discussion with Bill Moyers, Amy Goodman, Keith Olbermann, and Walter Cronkite.
Meet The Press this week is to include Tim Russert interviews with Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell and Jimmy Carter.
In a hopeful attempt to assuage doubts about e-voting Diebold, Sequoia, and ES&S announce a joint effort to release their programming source code files and election tabulation data to eminent scholars and the press next week. Bravo!
MoveOn.org announced plans for nationwide meetup for Help America Audit with live video feeds starring Moby and Eminem. The event is planned in conjunction with a fundraising and ad campaign to assist auditing the 2004 vote counts.
Greg Palast airs a new one hour show on ABC Sundays called The Broadcast - scheduling to be announced next week. Regular correspondents to include Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy.
...then I woke up in my jammies. It was still dark out.
Keith Olbermann did report of Cuyahoga County Ohio, "I'll repeat that: more votes than voters. 93,000 more votes than voters." I didn't dream that.
Maybe my HEROlbermann can get the truth out about the youth vote that exceeded expectations. False media reports that discourage the empowerment and recognition of youth voters only convinces me how paranoid politicos are of the youth voice/values during wartime (circa Vietnam). Fo shizzle.
Perhaps that's tomorrow night's dream...
